Kupid's Match

Privacy Policy

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Kupid's Match.

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 4, 2026   |   Last Updated: September 4, 2026

1. Introduction

KupidsMatch (“KupidsMatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) connects people through professional matchmakers who review profiles and make personal introductions, rather than relying solely on automated matching. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”), why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Who We Are

KupidsMatch is operated by Lovli Technologies Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada, with a registered address at 30 Olympia Cres, Brampton, ON L6X 4W1. We are the organization responsible for the personal information we collect and process under this Policy.

You can reach us about anything in this Policy at lovlitechnologiesinc@gmail.com.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you give us directly

  • Account and profile information: name, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, and password.
  • Profile content: photos, a written bio, relationship and partner preferences, and any other details you choose to add to your profile.
  • Communications: messages you send to matches, to our matchmakers, or to customer support.
  • Payment information: if you purchase a subscription or matchmaker service, your payment is handled by Apple, Google, or a third-party payment processor — we receive confirmation of payment, not your full card details.
  • Anything you tell a matchmaker directly, including preferences, feedback on introductions, and context you share to help them make better matches.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the Service — features used, screens viewed, and general activity patterns.
  • Approximate or precise location, if you enable location access, used to suggest matches near you.
  • Log and diagnostic data, including crash reports, used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

3.3 Information generated through matchmaking

  • Notes and compatibility observations a matchmaker records while working on your introductions.
  • Records of which introductions were made, and general feedback on how they went, so future matches can be better informed.

This section should be reconciled against what the app actually collects before publishing — remove anything listed here that isn't really gathered, and add anything collected that isn't yet listed. A mismatch between this Policy and the real app is one of the most common reasons Apple and Google reject a submission.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create and maintain your account, and verify your identity and age.
  • Enable our matchmakers to review your profile and make thoughtful introductions.
  • Operate core features: messaging, match suggestions, and your activity history.
  • Communicate with you about your account, introductions, and customer support requests.
  • Monitor for and act on content or behavior that violates our Terms of Service or community standards, including fraud, impersonation, and abuse.
  • Process payments for subscriptions or matchmaker services.
  • Improve and maintain the Service, including troubleshooting and analytics.
  • Send you service updates and, where you've agreed to receive them, marketing communications — you can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Our Basis for Using Your Information

In line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we only collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and meaningful consent, except where the law permits or requires otherwise. Consent may be express (for example, checking a box during sign-up) or implied by the way you use the Service. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice — withdrawing consent for core account information will generally mean we can no longer provide you the Service.

6. How We Share Your Information

6.1 With other users

Your profile information (as you've chosen to complete it) is visible to matches introduced to you by a matchmaker. It is not visible to the general public or to users you have not been introduced to.

6.2 With our matchmakers

Matchmakers working on your account — whether KupidsMatch staff or contracted matchmaking professionals bound by confidentiality obligations — can see your profile and preference information in order to do their job. They do not share your information outside the Service except as described in this Policy.

6.3 With service providers

We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, customer support tooling, push notifications, and analytics. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

6.4 For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of KupidsMatch, our users, or the public — including investigating suspected fraud or abuse.

6.5 Business transfers

If KupidsMatch is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

6.6 What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. [Confirm this is accurate before publishing — remove or revise if you use any ad network or data broker that would legally count as a “sale” or “share” of personal information.]

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period after you delete your account — [insert your actual retention window, e.g. 30 or 90 days] — to allow for account recovery, fraud prevention, and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Some information may be kept longer where required by law (for example, financial records for tax purposes).

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in [Canada / United States / wherever your servers or cloud provider are actually located], which may have different data protection laws than your own country. Where we transfer personal information outside Canada, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection, consistent with PIPEDA.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent to our collection or use of your information, as described in Section 5.
  • Request deletion of your account and personal information (see Section 11).
  • Opt out of marketing communications, using the unsubscribe link or your in-app notification settings.
  • Challenge our compliance with this Policy by contacting us using the details in Section 16, or by filing a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We will respond to requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

11. Account and Data Deletion

  • You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app, in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, bio, and messages from other users' view, and deletes your personal information from our systems, subject to the retention period in Section 7 and any legal obligation to keep certain records.
  • If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing through the Apple App Store or Google Play — cancel your subscription there first, or as prompted in the deletion flow.
  • You can also request deletion by emailing lovlitechnologiesinc@gmail.com.

12. Children's Privacy

KupidsMatch is intended for adults 18 years of age and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor is using the Service, please contact us.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may let you sign in using Apple, Google, or similar third-party accounts, and may link to third-party payment processors or external websites. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and this Policy does not cover how they handle your information — please review their policies separately.

14. Cookies and Similar Technologies

If you visit our website https://kupidsmatch.com, we may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision.
